Matti Ahopelto's (bass, drum machine, vocals) and Tapio Viitasaari's (synthesizers, vocals) backgrounds include everything from classical piano and church music to commercial sound design. The band was born out of a social visit and a clear inevitability in 2007. The result is a sound that references many of the non-embarrassing corners of the 1980s. They've been setting the blogosphere on fire ever since and have released a 7" on the custom imprint of the coolest club night in Helsinki, MISF*TS.
