Eija-Liisa Ahtila Returns to London

Finnish film and video artist Eija-Liisa Ahtila is back in the London with her first major solo exhibition since Tate Modern 2002. Ahtila is exhibiting three important moving image installations never before seen in England at London´s prestigious Parasol unit from 26th February to 25th April 2010. Read more

 

Voice10 Conference - No more business as usual

Conventional business solutions were challenged in the Voice10 conference - the UK's landmark conference for social enterprises. For the past five years the Social Enterprise Coalition has brought together leaders, government, politics and business from different countries, aiming to find responses to key questions in business and economy. The 2010 event focused on the role of social enterprises in rebuilding a sustainable economy as well as in reforming public services. Read more

Ja, Ja, Ja Music: New Nordic Talent with a Difference

Ja Ja Ja is an exciting new club night showcasing the best emerging talent from the Nordic countries at central London venue The Lexington. It provides a platform where new ‘export ready' artists across multiple genres are able to showcase their music to key British music industry professionals, media, tastemakers and punters alike. Each night features a specially invited British curator who selects their favourite artists for the night. February's Ja, Ja, Ja has been curated by Simon Raymonde from Bella Union. Read more
